Obama bragged to O'Reilly about the $400 billion in cuts he proposed in the State of the Union. Know how much that is? 5 billionth of one percent !

Just a note about Obama's State of the Union's suggestion that we cut $400 billion dollars over the course of the next five years. He bragged about this total in his interview with Bill O'Reilly on Super Bowl Sunday.

400 billion sounds like a lot of money. Just saying that phrase, "400 billion dollars" is a rather scary thing.

But, put this into a real time context. You do the math; divide 400 billion by 7 trillion and see what you get.

You say, "What ???!!!" At current rates of spending, our Obama run government will spend 7 trillion and more in the next five years. Obama is fully aware of this. His suggestion that we cut 400 billion is an insult, not any sort of solution.

"At least it is a start" will be the counter point to this post. And we say, "Bull !!"

We did the math for Mr. Smartest Man in America Obama and here is the percentage value of 400 billion against 7 trillion in spending: 0.00005714286 %. That is the percentage of savings Obama offers to this nation . . . . with a smile on his face . . . with the sound of confidence in his voice.

Is this number 5 billionths of one percent?

Understand that 5 billionth of one percent is also known as "zero." THAT is the solution Obama promises. That is the "start" your big government Democrats offer to the American people.

    Where were you educated? Maybe a little less jesus and little more basic arithmetic... and a good general education would have suited you.

    400 billion is 5.7% of 7 trillion.

    1 trillion= 1000 billion

    Did you graduate from the 8th grade?

    I'm embarrassed for you. Maybe you can take the rest of your teabagger friends with you and go back to school and get an education.

    While I put too many zeros into the equation, my point is precisely the same. Obama's 400 billion will be completely eaten up in interest payments on the national debt within a 100 days. That is the fact we need to pay attention to.

    I should have written, "After 100 days, Obama's plan amounts to exactly zero."
