Reid Tells Boehner to forget about ObamaCare repeal; Unlike the GOP of the past, Boehner fires back. Its about time !!

Senators Reid, Durbin, Schumer, Murray and Stabenow:

Thank you for reminding us – and the American people – of the backroom deal that you struck behind closed doors with ‘Big Pharma,’ resulting in bigger profits for the drug companies, and higher prescription drug costs for 33 million seniors enrolled in Medicare Part D, at a cost to the taxpayers of $42.6 billion.

The House is going to pass legislation to repeal that now. You’re welcome. - John Boehner

Editor notes: anyone remember reading about the Revolutionary War? How the Brits fought in regiment, standing or kneeling in carefully choreographed lines, sometimes only a few yards from an opposing army, fighting back out of the same type of regiment? And the Americans, firing from the forest, taking "pot shots" at the standing
armies of the British?

Well, in times past (Bush, Gingrich and the idiot McCain) , we were the Brits. The gorilla tactics of the Democrats were countered by a patient reserve, a very disciplined and respectful opposition and where did that get us? Nowhere. Absolutely nowhere.

This time, it is all different. Boehner has shown a little moxie and the GOP/conservative movement has the professional hardcore conservative media lead by Rush and a second tier "fighting unit," the conservative bloggosphere. The audience of all this conservative talk is between 60 and 75 million Americans.

The TEA Parties account for around 40 million folks. Rush has an weekly audience of 25 million, Hannity has 17 million, Beck has around 14 million. We have FoxNews, The Heritage Foundation, the American Spectator, the American Thinker, RealClearPolitics, the Washington Examiner. 22 state legislatures have switched. So too, 682 state legislator positions with newly elected Republicans in offices previously held by Democrats. There is the Fundamentalist Right with 20 million, and a right leaning Independent class of voters that is growing in numbers and has left Obama in the dust. Millions have "switched" back to the GOP.

A measure of the Independents' move to the right is seen in Rasmussen's "Generic Ballot" showing a 10 point spread between the GOP and the lowly Democrats before the elections and, again, this week. This is huge. Of course, the GOP is just getting started. A margin of 2 to 5 points on the generic ballot would be a great average for the GOP during the coming months.

If the New GOP does its job, 2012 promises to be another 2010 but with more electoral victories. If the Courts do not cancel out ObamaCare, the GOP has a very good chance of getting the job done by 2012.

Understand that Congressional Establishment Republicans can take us back to the Dark Ages. We have to trust them and remove those who work against the traditional values of the grassroots movement.
