Clyburn's Fairness Doctrine is a sham, a pretence designed to defeat the growing influence of conservative talk.

Jim Clyburn is a representative from South Carolina. He has a BA in history, is an influence member of the Congessional Black Caucus. He is the driving force, of late, as relates to the Fairness Doctrine. His daughter, Mignon Clyburn, was appointed to the FCC in April of 2009 and it is the FCC that is being used to create and enforce Fairness type regulations in lieu of legislative "solutions." Mignon's appointment proves both the Marxist agenda of the FCC and Obama's complicity in that effort.

The first fairness doctrine ran from 1949 to 1987 when it was taken down by the FCC, itself. rep Clyburn declares: we had restraints on speech back then.

During its time, the Fairness Doctrine coexisted with these events, occurring its time of influence:

And JFK was murdered by members of the mob

And Robert Kennedy was murdered

And Martin Luther was murdered

And college aged rioters ruled the day in the sixties.

And LBJ refused to run for a second term because of the opposition he faced

And Nixon was forced out of office because of investigations and pressure (he really was a crook)

Understand that the Fairness of Doctrine of old did no one much good at all. That is why it was finally reversed by the FCC.

Today's Marxist drive to limit free speech is directed against conservative talk. There is no similarity between the first Fairness and the Fairness Doctrine coming from the Marxist side of the aisle.

Understand that Rep Clyburn, the #3 Democrat in the House and member of the Marxist oriented Black Caucus is the fellow driving new interest in the Fairness Doctrine.
