From her Facebook, we have these departing words:

"I have been sustained throughout my life by three saving graces — my family, my friends, and a faith in the power of resilience and hope. The days of our lives, for all of us, are numbered. We know that.”

We add this comment: whether Elizabeth Edwards knows it or not (and we do not know her thoughts on this matter), it is certain that God superintended her life as he does us all.
