The Cook Report Issues Final Forecast: GOP Gains 50 to 60 Seats in the House — In its final forecast for the election cycle, The Cook Political Report expects a gain for Republicans of 50 to 60 seats in the House, with six to eight seats in the Senate. Editor's notes: understand that Cook is the premier polling firm according to many. Midknight Review uses Rasmussen as its final word. Both are saying very much the same thing.

If the House GOP majority rises into the 60's, the message is this: we really did not like what we saw last year. It will be a huge vote against Obama. We all know that this is not a vote for the Republicans. And the TEA party knows this before anyone else.

Obama's Senate seat in Illinois may be won by a Republican. Reid, Senate Majority Leader, may be defeated.

Ohio's governorship may fall over to the Republicans. No Republican has won the presidential election without winning Ohio. Having a Republican governor is a huge advantage for the GOP candidate, whoever she might be.

The Stated Nonsense from the Left now includes these Progressive goals:
