Boise State is a non-BCS college. It has been hanging around in the Top Ten for college football for years. This past weekend the #4 Broncos lost to #19 Nevada, but because they were out played but because their field goal kicker missed a 7 yard field goal attempt at the end of the game and a 15 yard field goal in overtime. It was Boise's 2 loss in 38 games. And it dropped then completely out of the Top Ten -- an absolute travesty.
Midknight Review believes Boise is one of the top ten football programs in the nation. They were dropped from the Top Ten listing because the powers that be do not want to give Boise the chance of playing a big name program in a post-season bowl game. . . . . like they did four years ago in the Fiesta Bowl against Oklahoma. Boise is an embarrassment to big named programs. Rather than dropping Boise to 6th or 8th on the rankings, they took them completely out of the list and . . . . . of course, blamed it all on the computers.
Absolutely no one wants to play the Broncos on their home field where their record [since 1999] is 59 - 2. In the past five years, Boise has had 3 undefeated seasons and are 6 - 3 in post season bowl competition.
We are very disappointed in the "good old boys BcS system" of rankings. Please note our cleaver moniker, "BcS " depiction. Make note of it and take it personal.
