Obama's seven day Rasmussen average is 46.285, down from 46.857 from the seven day period, before. Midknight Review has been running averages against the Rasmussen report for some time, now. What we know is this, there really is little "trending" going on as relates to Mr. Obama's numbers. He has been "stuck" at or near 46% approval for months. We have read numerous reports that similar circumstances plagued Clinton and Bush at the same point in their presidencies. We disagree. Clinton began his first term in the very low 40's and improved his numbers throughout his eight year term. Obama's trending is "flat." Bush did not get into the the 40 percentile bracket until his second term, the result of the worst media "hounding" of any president in history.
No, Obama is in a class all to himself.
