EUROPE: 'Coldest winter in 1,000 years' on its way...
A Russian publication (Prime Time Russia)is reporting that Europe may be in for the coldest winter in a 1000 years. The reason? The Gulf Stream, a warm flow of air, has been cut in half over a period of the last two years. At its current size, it cannot compensate for the coldness of the winter as it has for the past 10 plus years. If the Gulf Stream is reduced close to nothing, that will trigger a "mini-ice age."
