Editorial notes: On the day of his Oval Office speech, Obama was sitting on a 48% approval rating, poised to hit 50% for the first time in over a year. He knew the importance of this speech. In his mind, no doubt, he thought ending the Iraq War would score points. As it turns out, his speech has proven to be another Oval Office disaster, dropping his approval numbers from a 47/48 percent approval rating to ---- suddenly ----- 44%. Today's numbers are the first that are wholly due to his Oval Office speech.
Once again, the people see Obama as out of touch and immovable. His personal agenda, which is the National Democrat Platform, has not worked and we all are paying for this "Obama experiment." Again, it is his personal strategy that has become the national agenda. He is angry, of Black Liberation theology, a man well acquainted with Marxism - preferring some its tenets at times, having no economic or administrative background, and, well, here we are 20 months later. He has spent more than all of the presidents before him combined (forget about the Bush comparison) and is now, out of ideas.
