His minions are very discouraged. His "popularity" has reached the "new zero" and things are looking good for conservatives !!!

Well, take a look at this. That "42%" approval rating is a record low for Obama on the Rasmussen poll. This is a significant number for Midknight Review because we consider "42%" to be the new "zero" for Obama. At this percentage or below, he cannot win re-election, even if he were running against my grandmother - and she's dead !!! That "-20" on the larger chart, above, measures the passion of his supporters. A negative 20 is near a record low for that measurement.

You might think we are off subject to mention Obama's decision, today, to send troops to the border. That decision seemingly came out of nowhere -- but it really did not. We believe this decision is a response, a panic response, to the decline of Obama's popularity. The passage of the healthcare bill was supposed to remedy that decline. It didn't. In fact, it is more unpopular now that it was at the time of its passage.

If you were surprised to hear of Obama's decision to send 1,200 troops to the Southern border along with with a bunch of cash -- now you know why. The past three weeks has seen a slow downward trend for Obama. Today, it hit a record low. It will go up a point or two tomorrow. There is always a small rebound after a record low is recorded. What we need to watch in this regard, is his popularity over the course of the coming month. Obama and his Congress is about to pass three or four more bills totally multi-billions. One will be a bail-out for the unions. Another for teacher unions. Understand, that Obama has not paid off everyone to whom he owes money and if he waits until after November, his chance to do so will be gone.
