Understand that the '09 Stimulus Bill spending total has increased from $787 billion (not counting interest) to $861 because of added unemployment benetfit payments.
Also know that only 25% of the total stimulus package was for "jobs."
Finally, about 53% of all government spending has to do with "administrative costs" (waste, fraud and overhead).
As relates to "fraud," you should be aware of this as an example: here in California, this editor has seen "Recovery and Reinvest Act of 2009" signs post on highway construction projects that are four years old or older and are actually funded by Measure C. We have counted 6 such projects. Measure C is a perpetual tax we Californians vote to approve every year. Obama and Company are now claiming credit for these projects.
Our question is this: is this sort of thing going on throughout the nation?
