Mr.Obama intends to "fundamentally transform the United States." His agenda is increasingly troublesome but failure may be his only legacy.

So much remains unknown with regard to Mr. Obama. Unfortunately, the continuing revelation as to who he is is tied to his daily announcements as to the next event on his clandestine and unspoken agenda. He walks alone because he stands alone - an enigma to all including those of his own political party.

From the Editor: What follows is a portion of an article critical of Obama and his unwillingness to move away from the Bush Blame Game.

One would expect to find such an article here at Midknight Review. It is included, here, however, because of its origin. The article is authored by Ruben Navarrette Jr., a member of the editorial board of the San Diego Union Tribune, a nationally syndicated columnist, a frequent lecturer, and a regular contributor to CNN.com.

Midknight Review began a policy of including political review at the first of this year from members of the Lame Stream Media and Liberal/Marxist/Socialist/Whatever folk on the Left. It turns out that many of these types are as upset with Mr. Obama as is the Right. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, we say. Here is Mr. Navarrette's central editorial point:

In the 2008 presidential election, Barack Obama was supposed to run against John McCain. But, early on, he decided that he’d much rather run against George W. Bush.

Obama was elected. But the campaign against Bush continues to this day. Whenever Obama gets in a tight scrape or suffers a setback or loses part of the electorate, he blames Bush.

After the voters of Massachusetts elected Republican Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate, ABC News’ George Stephanopolous asked Obama to interpret the election results.

“People are angry,” Obama responded, “and they’re frustrated. Not just because of what’s happened in the last year or two years, but what’s happened over the last eight years.”

Don’t expect that to stop. It’s become second nature now. In 2012, Obama will be running for reelection on his track record — and you can bet that, on campaign stops, he’ll still be blaming Bush. It’ll be surreal. end of text. Source link - Pajamas Media.

More from the Editor: the Marxist Media would have you believe that a sea change in national politics is underway. Midknight Review does not agree. Indeed, there are more choices (it seems) on the political stage but, in the end, nothing is new. Obama and his Marxist Progressive minions tout the same old same old. One would expect Mr. Intellectual to be somewhat profound from time to time. To date, "profundity" is not that which typifies his rhetorical presence nor is "creative genius" a mark of his attempt at social and political reformation.

He's a fairly good reader. He can talk . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and talk . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .talk. He is great in his ability to say what we all want to hear and to couch his [wrong headed] agenda in that which we strongly support. Fourteen months into his administration, we know that what we see in Mr. Obama is not what we will know of him at the end of this year or the end of his term as "President." Most of the nation is ready for him to be gone - a recent CNN poll telling us that 53% of this nation's voters do not believe he "deserves" to be President. Perhaps Mr. Navarrette is one of those voters.
