Obama is trying to raise his approval numbers by sounding "presidential" regarding Haiti. It ain't working out so good for the Spinmeister.

No news here. What we want to do is this: follow these numbers for a few days to see if Obama's strategy for improving his numbers works. The history for this chart, if you have not been following along, are numbers between -12 to -18. Recently, his numbers have been as good as a -10 and and poor Obama is obviously using the Haitian disaster in an effort to effect numbers, campaigning against the past and trying to establish himself as a thoughtful and responsive leader. Let's see if the strategy works. Watch this particular post for updates. If he improves via this strategy, it will happen over the course of

Update: so how is he doing with looking like the savior of Haiti as he gives away our money -- without the hint of a long term plan? The American people are not falling for his methodology. He is trying to lift his approval numbers by sounding "presidential" with regard to Haiti. He has no plan. The $100 million he pledged to Haiti is a number he pulled out of thin air. Here are his numbers from Rasmussen for the
past six days. The important numbers are "Total Approval" and "Total Disapprove." These are likely voters.
