Here is a chart showing the results (in part) of a poll taken by Allstate/National Journal at the beginning of January.
As you view the chart, understand the "federal government" is Mr. Obama. These are his numbers and this chart is a measure of the benefit received from his enacted policies. With all the talk of concern for the middle class, Obama is hardly seen as the savior of the middle class. This editor has often seen the number "12%" as that percentage of people who will believe anything. Percentages at that number or below are, in one sense of the word, equal to "zero." In other words, while the percentage may be true, the impact of that number on the larger picture is almost non-existent.
Look at the chart. 8% of low-income folk see themselves as benefited by the work of Obama's policies. In similar order, only 9% of the middle class consider themselves as benefited by the work and influence of the Obama Administration. In an up and coming election, these numbers would translate into virtually no electoral influence for Mr. Obama. What works against our Novice Chief Administrator is the perception with regard to the Banking industry, the wealthy and major corporations. While he has busied himself stirring up class hatred specifically related to these three categories, the American population sees these very groups as being given special treatment from Mr. Obama. That circumstance is almost humorous. At this point in time, Obama is a victim of his own Marxist rhetoric . . . . hate the rich, those damned corporations, and the evil banking industry. Oh, his rhetoric worked but threatens to take him down in the process !!!! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
