Brown "up" by a bunch in Massachusetts but nothing is over until it is over.

Here is what we know about Scott Brown.

He is supported by all Republicans including the Tea Party types of which this editor is a proud associate.

He is pro-abortion but believes it is a state issue, not a federal issue AND he is opposed to late term abortions.

He appeared "semi-nude" in Cosmopolitan back in 1982 [he was 22 and in college]. That is not a negative if "semi-nude" means he was wearing a towel or a bathing suit. It is problematic if it means he was only wear a hat.

He ran against the health care bill and Cap and Trade and the Stimulus - our kind of guy.

He is currently serving Massachusetts as a State Senator and has been serving in that capacity since 1994.

He voted "yes" for an amendment defining marriage as between and man and a woman.

He voted for a "sales tax holiday" and against a cigarette tax increase.

He s strong on national defense having served in the National Guard for 30 years.

He thinks Obama and Company should have started with jobs and the economy rather than than taking over the banking industry, the auto industry, the housing business via Fannie and Freddie.

He believes that Obama and Company should have already made the Medicare cuts rather than just talking about making those cuts.

He does not believe in criminalizing terrorism and thinks the New York trials are bad business.

And you have to love this: yesterday, Obama came to Massachusetts to campaign for Coakley. That did not turn out so well in New Jersey, or Virginia, or his campaign to get the Olympics or his health care bill by midJuly, or his Cap and Trade bill finished by the end of the summer or his green campaign in Copenhagen. Anyway, Mr. Obama began by saying this, " I don't know the man's record . . . " and then proceeded to attack Brown's , ah, record.
