Now that we are about to step out of the shadows of Corona, the Dems make it clear they are going to politicize the issue for the sake of winning an election.

Bruce Bartlett / USA Today: Ex-Republican on Trump coronavirus failures: Our lives depend on electing Joe Biden.

Editor:  Look , if the Dems had been proactive about future disasters during the Obama years,  the National coffers would have been filled with P95 masks and ventilators, and protective clothing for our medical personnel.   Instead,  Trump had to start from zero preparedness in the battle against this killer virus.  In that fact,  they have forfeited their right to criticize. Problem:  They (the Dems) do not know how to think critically and are simply not aware of their forfeiture.  Nor do they grasp the danger of waiting seven months for an effective attack against the virus.

They may not come to their senses before the November elections.

Think about their inability to reason critically.  A perfect example is the above headline.  From its reading,  we understand that the Democrat "solution" to Corona will not happen until the November elections when they are voted into office to save the nation.  They are going to save the nation seven months from now  ???!!!!!   Seven months from now,  Joe Biden is going to save us from Corona.

There are so many things wrong with this time table,  with this scenario.  For starters,  we would all be dead if Trump is not doing his job and the nation has to wait for Biden   . . . .   and I will leave it at that except to laugh at the silliness of the headline.

And now you know why U.S.A.Today is little more than a daily pamphlet.

Ex-Republican on Trump coronavirus failures: Our lives depend on electing Joe Biden

Curing the coronavirus is Issue 1 through infinity, and we must beat Trump to make it happen. I hope a Republicans for Biden group emerges quickly.

Opinion ContributorAs an ex-Republican turned independent, I didn’t have much to say about the Democratic race. I had my preferences. I supported Sen. Elizabeth Warren and would have supported several others for the nomination before I got to Joe Biden. But not being a Democrat, I was not in a position to do much except vote in my state’s primary.
However, with Sen. Bernie Sanders dropping out of the race for the Democratic nomination, it's time for me to get off the bench. With the former vice president now the de facto nominee, the general election begins in earnest. In my view, it is absolutely essential to elect Biden in November. It is literally a matter of life and death.
I understand that there are those who still feel passionately about some of the issues that divided Biden and Sanders. Health care reform is obviously a big one. But every policy idea the candidates argued about during the various debates has been superseded by COVID-19. There is no other issue on the ballot in November.
