This editor lives in the Central Valley of California, a five country area that currently has recorded 15 corona related deaths.  That is 15 deaths in a population of 6.5 million people.  If there are "safe" regions in the United States as relates to the current epidemic,  the Central Valley is one of them.   To carry this thread a bit further,  there are 24,000 people living in my community with one coraona death, to date.

While New York and New Jersey are fighting their own version of hell,  there are parts of this country that can only be regarded as safe.  I am hoping against hope,  that these safe regions are the first to go back to work at the end of April.

The death count in California euqals 11 deaths per one million people,  one of the lowest ratios in the nation   . . . . .   in the most poulated state in the Nation.  My point?  There is reason to hope.
