Its not justy Trump; Hillary rejects the 200 year old U.S. electorial process for the Presidency.

Obviously I Can Beat Him Again': Hillary Clinton Says She Could Win In 2020

Editor:  First off,  there is nothing "obvious" about Hillary's faux intervention in the Democrat nominating process.  Secondly, the winner of our presidential elections have always been chosen in the "electoral college."  Members of that "college" cast their votes for the candidate winning the popular vote in the particular state(s).  Our president is not chosen by "popular vote."  Rather,  the presidential election is based on state by state outcomes.

There are 538 electoral delegates; one for each Senator, one for each of the 435 House Representatives, and three for the District of Columbia. This allows for minorities and minority opinions as meaningful factors in the national election.  without the electoral college,  minorities and their opinion do not count.  If the Dems want to get rid of conservative opinion,  all they have to do is destroy the electoral college.
