How are the Dems responding to the news of a "criminal" investigation by John Durham.?

Understand that John Durham was appointed last May by AG Barr to investigate the Russia Hoax origins. Barr and Durham have spent considerable time working together since,  including trips together,  to Itally in August and September.

And here is the offical reaction of Democrat leadership in the hopes of tainting the criminal investigation:

Nadler and Schiff released this joint statement early this morning:

"These reports, if true, raise profound new concerns that the Department of Justice under Attorney General William Barr has lost its independence and become a vehicle for President Trump's political revenge.  If the Department of Justice may be used as a tool of political retribution, or to help the President with a political narrative for the next election,  the rule of law will suffer new and irreparable damage."

Obviously,  these morons know that bad news is looming on the horizen  . . . .  and in the weeks and months immediately before the 2020 election.

Remember this:  Horowitz is investigating the FISA process relating to the Russian Hoax while Durham is investigating, criminally,  the origins of the Hoax.

With these investigations,  folks in the Democrat camp are already hiring lawyers in aticipation of possible legal complaints against them.

My,  how the tables have turned on the Dems.

Update:  The criminal aspect of the Durham investigation allows him to impanel a Grand Jury, bring in witnesses, and ultimately file charges.   

Update #2:  understand that ALL Intelligence Investigation are presented and made know to the current president     . . . . .  in this case,  Barack Obama.  In other words,  there is no reason to believe that Obama was not fully aware of the origins of the Russia Hoax.  After all,  its orgins began with FISA and was, originally,  an intelligence investigation dealing with foreign involvment in our investigations.
