Fact Checking Joe Biden's claim that the Obama economy was healthy and in full recovery.

Indeed the economy was in recovery mode.  So much so that Biden declared the summer of 2010 the "Summer of Recovery."  He predicted 5,000 new jobs a month and a decreasing unemployment number.  In fact,  Barack predicted that unemployment would not exceed 8%. 

Truth:  By the end of  that summer,  the nation had lost 350,000 jobs,  unemployment had risen to 10% and  Barack/Biden Administration had committed itself to higher taxation for the corporate/job-creating class and a regulatory regime that made Obama/Biden the most restrictive anti-jobs Administration since WWII.  

More than this and something that was never a media target was the fact that the Obama/Biden Administration placed signs at virtually all highway construction sites proclaiming infrastructure efforts aid for y their Administration.  Much of it was a lie.  For exampl, signs were placed on the 180 project just north of my home.  The project was entering its third year of construction, yet Obama/Biden placed signs up and down the project path claiming credit.  A second example foundan Obama project sign at a bridge built on the Western Divide back in 1974.  Again,  a sign was placed at this location claiming credit for something buildt 40 years before Obama.   I know about that bridge because I was the foreman for that bit of construction.  

Add to this fraud,  was the Obama/Biden use of the phrase "created or saved" to describe their failing effort at creating jobs.  If Trump was doing the same thing,  instead of 6 million jobs created,  he would be claiming somewhere around 15 million jobs created or saved.   

Conclusion:  Let Biden run on his economy under Barack.  If the Trump people know their research/history,  the fact of the matter is this:  the Biden economy was the slowest in terms of recovery,  in the history of our nation.
