His Real Clear polling averages is 44% with Rasmussen at 49%, Harvard Harris and the oncomist at 46%. Trump is more popular than Nancy Pelosi. There is every reason to believe that his voter base has increased from 64 million to a nominal 67 million . . . the only difference between now and years ago is found in the fact that there are far fewer "undecided."
Common wisdom says that if the ecnomy turns bad (and the stockmarket is NOT the marker, here), Trump loses his re-election bid. But there is "dark horse" factor that is being totally ignored, and that is the effect of the tax reform bill, which goes into full affect this coming April, 2019. For the first time, the child credit will double from $1000 per child to
$2000, and the standard deduction will double . . . . . . in my case, that deduction will go from $12,000 to a deduction of $24,000 . That is money (the $24,000) I earn but on which I pay no taxes. Come April 15, 2019, millions of folks will see real/similar deductions to their income tax. No wonder Pelosi wants to end this tax reform.
