Piers Morgan went after Gretchen Carlson for her mind-numbing decision as Chair of the Miss America event. Today, Carlson released this statement:

‘We will no longer judge our candidates on their outward physical appearance,’

And Piers Morgan has written a article openly criticizing this decision. He entitled the article

If Miss America contestants really want to be judged on their brains and not their bodies, they should go and study neuroscience

Carlson and her decision is joined by Google, who, today, deleted all images of Miss America contestants from its "images" categories.

And with this decision, it is clear that the idealistic Left has decided that a woman in a swimsuit is, somehow, evil. Anyone believe that the Miss America Pageant will survive? Personally, I have not watched the event for more than 20/30 years, but there is a reason why the swimsuit or "fitness" competition has been a part of this event. Its called "marketing." And without a marketing hook, events such as the Pageant will not survive. Mark my words.
