Trump plans to pardon Jack Johnson, convicted of taking a white woman (on a date) across state lines.

Brent D. Griffiths / Politico:
Trump says he's ‘considering’ a pardon for boxer Jack Johnson  —  President Donald Trump said Saturday he is considering a posthumous pardon for boxing champion Jack Johnson, who was convicted over a century ago under racially motivated charges for his relationship with a white woman.

Editor:  One of the most comprehensive articles in Wikipedia is the one dealing with Jack Johnson.  Very interesting.

Johnson was Heavy Weight Champion of the World for 8 years (1907-1915) and Black Champion for a number of years before that.

His first fight was in 1898 and his last fight,  his 102nd,  was in November of 1945.  The man was a bad ass.
