The first of the really big time advertisers for the NFL, is Papa John's Pizza, is pulling ads from the NFL. Add to this, the fact the TV executives want to scale back their Thursday Night coverage because of the continuing decrease in ad revenue, and you have a very serious problem, developing for the NFL. Keep in mind, that every time you watch one of these antiAmerican protests, you are watching 20 plus/minus players knewling with 60,000 to 80,000 folks standing for the Anthem, behind these players. They could sit, in support of this black activist movement, but they choose to stand. No one mentions this, but, if you are keeping score, 80,000 to 20 means YOU LOOSE. Want to fight for social justice? Fine. But not as you turn your back on the Flag or the National Anthem ~ editor.
MSM : Some NFL executives and owners are concerned about the negative
impact national anthem protests have on the business side of the league,
and the man who started the Papa John’s franchise feels those concerns
are warranted.
On the heels
of his company’s latest financial reports being released, Papa John’s
founder John Schnatter was critical of the NFL for its lack of
leadership and revealed that Papa John’s is pulling some of its
advertising associated with the league.
NFL players are kneeling all the way to the bank, they get paid the same on matter what. It's the top 1%er owners that will lose out on lower ratings. They are the Trump voters, not the players.
ReplyDeleteThis comment is simply false. Obama taxed the middle class more than any president in history. The GOP plan will have a top tax bracket of 39.4% (that is a tax hike on the very richest in our country) with cuts to the remainder of the tax base. Half the nation will not pay federal taxa, as is the current reality. The top 1% pays 40% of all federal taxes, today, much more than their "fair share."
DeleteYou better hope you're as healthy as I am.
ReplyDeleteThe House Republican tax bill would eliminate the ability for individuals to deduct qualified medical expenses, a provision that could have major implications for households with extremely high health-care costs.
Actually, I am in much better shape than you might think. And I still have a killer standing single.
DeleteOur health care costs (my wife and I) are next to zero. I haven't had the flue or a cold in nearly four years. 165 squats, 145 and a 3rd set of 100. 65 push ups, 50 and a 3rd set of 40 . . . . . mon wed and friday. I do not eat dairy, or more than 70 carbs a day. My metabolism has increased some 400 calories over the course of the past 9 months, as well.
And the new tax law will give us a $24,000 deduction, an increase from $12,000, so I am not worried.
