Enough is enough. "He grabbed my ass." I say, get over it. Gossip should not be "news."

Dustin Hoffman Accused Of Groping 17-Year-Old Intern In the 80s

<<<  He is 80, today.  He was 48 back then.

Actor Dustin Hoffman allegedly sexually harassed a 17-year-old girl in the 1980s, the victim wrote in an op-ed published Wednesday.
“He was openly flirtatious, he grabbed my ass, he talked about sex to me and in front of me,” wrote Anna Graham Hunter, 49, who interned as a teen on the set of the 1985 “Death of a Salesman” TV film  . . . . .   “He was a predator, I was a child, and this was sexual harassment,” Graham wrote.

Editor: Look,  this all supposedly happened nearly 40 years ago.  She was not raped.  She was not pursued by Hoffman outside her job situation,  and there remains the possibility that this was not nearly as egregious a situation as she claims.  After all,  there are two sides to this story,  and Haffman should not be declared "guilty" of anything based on this story.

Now,  before you pass out with anger,  understand that,  if true,  an apology is due.  But we should never conflate "harassment" with rape.  Weinstein rape women,  and made it clear that they had no future without serving his needs at the moment.

An apology may be in the future,  but this is not a big news story.
