Paul Demko / Politico:
Trump will scrap critical Obamacare subsidies
— President Donald Trump plans to cut off subsidy payments to insurers
selling Obamacare coverage in his most aggressive move yet to undermine
his predecessor's health care law.
Editor's notes: Of course, Obamacare is destroying itself. Even the notion of it being "universal" is a lie. The fact of that matter is this: 28 million remain uninsured and another 11 million cannot afford to use their policies because of the 6,000 to 10,000 dollar deductibles the Democrat financial geniuses crafted into the tax law (and it is a tax law). You are looking at close to 40 million folks uninsured, so excuse me for supporting what Trump is doing.
But exactly what is he doing? Well, for one thing, he is forcing Congress into a corner, forcing these vacationing clowns to actually fix the bill. He is a non-partisan. He will sign anything that fixes this legal claim to stupidity.
Keep in mind that subsidies will not vanish from the scene immediately. You may be looking at upwards of a full year before that happens, but Trump is going to get things done in this regard, and that solution will be in the form of legislation. If that does not happen, Congress will take the blame and he walks away as a promise keeper.
ReplyDeletePoll: 80 percent of voters disapprove of GOP handling of health care
Is this the same polling concern that predicted a Hillary victory in 2016?
DeleteSecondly, what does your comment have to do with the financial problems ObamaCare has become. Understand that ObamaCare subsidies take more than 7 trillion with a "t" out of the economy by the end of the first 10 year date for ObamaCare. In other words, for those of you who live in Tennessee, ObamaCare costs the American tax payer 7 trillion for the 1st ten years and 11 trillion for the second. What a freaking joke this plan has become.
