From the Blaze: President Donald Trump is a fan of Twitter, and he loves to use his Twitter account to speak directly to his followers and America.
But since becoming president, Trump has come under fire for the way he uses his account. Prior to becoming president, it was normal for Trump to fire off tweets critical of the media or tweets that criticized people by name. Some believe Trump’s tweets are evidence he’s not fit for office, while others shrug them off because it’s normal for him.
However, after some controversial remarks directed at MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski this week, Trump found a way to take his Twitter criticisms to new heights on Saturday.
He began Saturday by wishing Canadians a happy Canada Day. Then he criticized NBC for firing Greta Van Susteren from her MSNBC show, remarking that Susteren was fired because she refused to “go along w/ ‘Trump hate!'”
Then Trump issued one of his most poignant criticisms of CNN to date.
“I am extremely pleased to see that @CNN has finally been exposed as #FakeNews and garbage journalism. It’s about time!” the president wrote.
