He is a career politician who became a millionaire BECAUSE of his position in Congress. He is an "Independent" and an admitted socialist. He has not sponsored any significant legislation, over the years, because his ideas are so out of wack with fiscal reality that not even the Dems could support his thinking. In the world of money fantasy, there is the Democrat Party and, then, there is Bernie.
Had Bernie not created the primary storm in his party, in 2016, it is almost certain that Hillary would have squeaked out a victory. But, instead, he raised hell within the Democrat Party, and then abandoned his Millennial following in his hypocritical/tepid support of Hillary.
And his wife is a crook, falsifying loan records in an effort to save the college of which she was president. Her crime? Other than lying about college income, she actually believed her own Big Government, socialist crap . . . . . that as long as the cause is good, you simply cannot spend too much money, even if you have to lie and cheat to get it. Same thing all Progressives in both parties, believe.
Turns out, in the private sector, that philosophy does not work at all. No access to a money printing machine? Then, you are screwed if you do not want to balance the books . . . . and what socialist progressive does. So she lied for the greater good and got caught.
What a team: A quitter and a liar . . . . . . . a marriage made in heaven, no doubt.
