Fake News stoiry #220: WSJ runs story without verification. Their "source" has died.

I happened onto CNN,  Friday morning,  when they were interviewing someone who knew the ins and outs of this WSJ story.  The jest of the CNN review was this:  The WSJ is trying to tie members of the Trump Administration to Flynn and this Russian nonsense.  Problem,  the CNN host made it clear that no one knew if this accounting was true    . . .   no one.  He mentioned the problem CNN/WSJ has in confirming this story; turns out that  the source,  a man named Peter Smith,  died 10 days after talking to the Journal.  Soooo,   THERE IS NO STINKING STORY  !!!!!!!    In fact,  if you take time to read more than the headline,  below,  the excerpt proves that the story is so much barnyard   . . . .  chunky style. 


Wall Street Journal:
GOP Activist Who Sought Clinton Emails Cited Trump Campaign Officials  —  Peter W. Smith listed Bannon, Conway and Clovis, besides Flynn, in a recruiting document; his purpose isn't clear and there's no indication he asked for or received any coordination with them.
