Aya Hijazi and her husband, Mohamed Hassanein, founders of Belady, a nongovernmental organization that promotes a better life for street children, have returned to the United States after being releaed in Egypt, following the intervention of the Trump administration. They had spent nearly three years in prison on charges that were widely regarded as false. (Mohamed Abd El Ghany/Reuters).

Notes: Obama tried but failed to negotiate this release. His failure was directly related to his ineptness regarding diplomacy. In the years prior, Barack had interfered in Egyptian politics, giving aid to the Muslim Brotherhood in its ascension to the Egyptian presidency. The Brotherhood, a terrorist organization, was highly regarded by Barack. The Egyptian military eventually had no choice but to defeat the Muslim Brotherhood and its Sharia oriented theocracy. El-Sissi was installed as the new and secular Muslim President of Egypt, after the largest demonstration in Middle Eastern history. The Obama's opposed el-Sissi, and, in this opposition, found it impossible to negotiate the release of Aya Hijazi.

Hail to the Chief. There can be no doubt that Trump has brought leadership back to Washington and the world.
