Speaking for myself, I can't imagine anyone thinking Trump did not win last night's debate big time.

I didn't watch the debate. live.  Instead,  I recorded it,  and decided to watch the debate after I had taken in broadcast opinion concerning the Townhall meeting.  Why?  Well,  I just didn't want to watch a bar room brawl that centered itself in the Friday video tapes and Donald's lewd comments   . . . . .    not that I have not said things,  privately,  that would be as embarrassing.

As it turns out,  that is not where the debate went.  And Donald was more than effective.  If you need convincing,  you should listen to Frank Luntz's group opinion.  In summary,  the Luntz group was equally divided going into the Townhall  . . . .   9 leaning to Trump,  9 leaning to Hillary and an equal number with no expressed opinion(s).   After the debate,  somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4 of the group was leaning Trump   . . . . . .   and, "yes,"  he was that effective.

We will have to wait until Wednesday/Thursday before we find out just where the two campaign's stand with the American people.

Look,  we forget about the Townhall with Matt Lauer,  but Trump did very well in that meeting.  The "first" debate was an admitted loser for Donald.  Last night was very much the opposite.  And the VP debate was a clear winner for the the Trump/Pence campaign.  I say "three out of four ain't bad."

I believe we all want this to be over.  I do find it almost humorous that men such as Jeb or Mitt or McCain are on record saying, "It is time to put the well-being of the nation ahead of politics" while admitting that Hillary would be an abject disaster.  Incredible.

Understand that Pence was my first choice,  Trump has grown up over the past year.  In fact,  it is incredible what the man has learned about the politics of this nation,  and his several "come to Jesus" moments.  He is a blue collar multi-millionaire,  as incredible as that sounds,  and the voters know it.  He is just like so many men and women who live and work "in the trenches,"  who have to fight and scrape for every dollar, who are convinced that the world our fathers, mothers,  and friends from the past (the WW II generation) helped to advance,  is being co-opted by a growing chorus of globalists and commun-ists. folks who do not give a damn about our Founding Fathers,  the 13 colonies and related history,  nor the flag that has been the symbol of liberty to the entire world.    Enough is enough,  and Trump offers that as a promise to us all.  Will we be disappointed should he actually win the Presidency?  Who can say.  We have been lied to before   . . . . .    but Hillary's lies are well known and generational.  At least,  Trump is promising a different course for the GOP and I am fine with that.

See you at the polls.

  1. I seem to remember the entire GOP was gravely concerned about a trans-women groping women in a bathroom. Now you give a pass to a guy who does it for sport. Reminder.... there are dozens of recordings of Trump saying similar things. He has 'grown up'?

    But, he's a great businessman.

    1. And there would be dozens of similar tapes if you were important enough to be "taken down." As far as trannies in the bathroom, you did not read any story here on this blog about the "predatory behavior of the tranny population." The fact remains that there is no statistical evidence that the transgendered population is of any danger whatsoever. Case closed.
