How can I support Trump and wish for another candidate . . . like Rubio or Carly? You might find my answer not that different from yours.

The over-riding concern,  that single consideration that overwhelms all other concerns is the Hillary factor.  You know what I am talking about.  I think Hillary is a smart lady,  far ahead of Michelle Obama in that department.  But she has lived a life so compromised that,  on some days,  I am not sure she knows who she is.

I have consistently refused to print those ugly caricatures  of Hillery, or,  anyone in politics,  for that matter.  No monkey pics of Obama and no extremely distorted pictures of Mrs. Clinton  . . . .  I find that sort of thing very childish.

But I don't mind exposing folks for who and what they are.

Having said all that,  the over-riding concern that drives me to Trump is Hillary Clinton.  Except for the lack of a sexual scandal involving her,  personally,  she is as compromised as she can be.  Did not used to be that way.  But that was then,  and this is now.

Of course Trump is compromised in a very different way.  What makes him "acceptable" to me,  are the people he has surrounded himself with.  I have great respect for JT McFarland and General Flynn.  Both solid conservatives and extremely aware of foreign affairs.  Both are advisers to Trump on Foreign Affairs.  Jeff Sessions is another staunch conservative that I have always respected.  Mayor Giuliani is someone I once wished was President.  Diddo Gingrich.   Both exceptional men and successful politicians. Scott Brown, Rick Perry, Gov. Scott Walker, Kellyann Conway and Mike Pence rate high on my "respect monitor,"  as well.    In fact,  Mike Pence was my first choice during the primary season.  There are many more,  but these names come to mind as I write.

Trump has surrounded himself with some of the most capable men and women in the conservative movement.  Even Sarah Palin  (not around much,  these days,  due to health issues with her husband). Because of his associations,  I believe he will be an excellent president.  I do not think he can get too far off the reservation   . . . .   ooops   . . . .   plantation  . . . . . ooops  . . . .   farm,  because of those who advise and support him.  And not a "yes man" in the crowd.  They are all A Type personalities,  not afraid to speak their mind.

So, there you have it.  I can support Trump because of all those in his camp,  and each is fully committed to our Founding Principles,  the flag as a symbol of freedom for all peoples,  and our Constitutional government.

Join me and put this man in the WH.   Most importantly,  win, lose or draw,  we must never give up   . . . . .      and I am talking to myself more than any of you,  my readers.

BTW,  we had a record pageview day: 7022.  Pretty good for an ad-free publication,  a one man show,  and one who deletes 99% of all "comments."  This blog is not about the fight.  I have three opponents that are allowed to post when they are not being filthy mouthed.    If I allowed "comments" in general,  my pageviews would be 20,000 per day or more. Oh well.

'Nuff said.
