Has anyone noticed that conservative media is not as prolific with their polls as two/three weeks ago ? Wonder why? Maybe, conservative media has decided that the constant publication of polling numbers is helping Trump more than the desired measure.
As an amateur journalist, I look and look for the most recent rush of prognostication and it is simply not there, at least, not to the same degree as a few weeks ago. In the end, the mounting opposition coming from the GOP is both apparent, the fault of a non-responsive GOP leadership, and, more and more orchestrated by the GOP elites.
My heart is with teaparty ideals, but not with its willingness to forego conservative principles as it (the teaparty) runs to support Trump's increasing popularity. Start with the fact that Trump is no more a conservative than is Hillary Clinton. And, while that is hyperbole to a very real degree, you get my point. Again, if we start with Trump, then you will understand why I believe I (and many of like mind) that I have been betrayed by the likes of Sarah Palin, Mark Levin, Scott Brown, Rudy Giuliani, and Sean Hannity, not to mention any number of conservative evangels (Robbertson, Dr. Jeffress, some of the leadership within the Catholic Church, etc. ), Lou Dobbs, Eric Bolling, all of Fox and Friends, Judge Janine . . . . all at Fox.
As things stand at the moment, I have no intentions of voting for Trump if he is "the man." What will change my mind? Who he selects for VP and Attorney General. If his cabinet is filled with strong willed conservatives, I would give him my vote.
So I am left with "wait and see," something a 70 year old does not want to do . . .. wait and see.
Now you know.
