For the first time in my life, I am going to consider at least GOP candidates. I am a Democrat and have never voted for anyone on the national level who was not a Democrat. But if the party is going to feature an anti-congressional policy, which is exactly what President Obama, sadly, has done, I cannot and will not support that measure of lawlessness. Libertarians are looking pretty good to me, at this time. Ted Cruz? No. He is too uncompromising. Rand Paul could be my man. I will listen to Rubio, he seems more compassionate regarding the immigration problem, as is the case with Jeb. But with Jeb, I just don't want another Bush, although he might be the most likable of the bunch.
