Editor's note: Clearly, Obama has no intention of doing what is necessary to end this Middle East nightmare, a nightmare he created. The statement below, is a prepared one. His on-camera statement was some different to include his comment that this incident, by a terror "organization" will increase the probability of "doubling down" on efforts to defeat ISIS. Apparently, "doubling down" means he will send four high dollar advisers to the fight instead of two. My point being, "doubling down" on nothing is a declaration that he will continue to do nothing. Obama talks about the 2200 + bombing runs since those missions began, which translates to 12 sorties per day. Compare this to the invasion of Iraq and its 400 sorties in a single night. Whatever you think of that war, the point is obvious: we are doing the bare minimum in this "fight." Understand that 70% of the bombing runs have been in the very north and the fight to retake Kobani.
In his public statement, he did not use the phrase "hateful ideology," choosing, instead, to speak of their (ISIS) "whatever ideology." Incredible.
Sadly, our lessons-learned, as a nation, are never written in stone. The peaceniks of the 1930's fought against getting involved in the European war. After millions had been murdered by Hitler, we entered that war (June 6, 1944), six years after the fighting and atrocities began. The lesson of liberal, peace at any price, leadership was received. But, over the course of time, we have lost our resulting "purpose," and, now, 70 years later, are looking at the results of "peace at any price" philosophy. "Criminal" and "traitorous" are mt words for what we are seeing. I think people need to be in jail, even as I write. This is not a man (Obama) who does not "get it." Indeed, he sympathizes with Islam as a religion, and wants his non-violent version Islam to succeed. That is what is going on. Turns out, we are the ones who do not "get it."
At any rate, as you read, know that anyone can write a speech; it takes real leadership to fight and win. What a shame. What a sham. It is no wonder as to "why" 85% of the military, when polled, do not approve of their Commander.

Here is the most recent Obamagasim in prepared notes: Today, we join the people of Jordan in grieving the loss of one of their own, First Lieutenant Moaz al-Kasasbeh, cruelly and brutally killed by ISIL terrorists. On behalf of the American people, I offer my deepest condolences to Lieutenant al-Kasasbeh’s family and loved ones, to the brave men and women of the Jordan Armed Forces, and to King Abdullah II and the people of Jordan.
Lieutenant al-Kasasbeh will forever personify the bravery of a true son of Jordan, one who honored his family and country by his seven years of military service. Along with his compatriots and other Arab and international members of the coalition, Lieutenant al-Kasasbeh was in the vanguard of the effort to degrade and defeat the threat posed by ISIL.
Lieutenant al-Kasasbeh’s dedication, courage, and service to his country and family represent universal human values that stand in opposition to the cowardice and depravity of ISIL, which has been so broadly rejected around the globe. As we grieve together, we must stand united, respectful of his sacrifice to defeat this scourge. Today, the coalition fights for everyone who has suffered from ISIL’s inhumanity. It is their memory that invests us and our coalition partners with the undeterred resolve to see ISIL and its hateful ideology banished to the recesses of history.
Doing what is necessary? You have seen the Obama's kill list of terrorists killed.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he should do what Bush did, hold hands and kiss the Saudi king who likely funded al Qaeda:

I have pictures of Obama bowing and kissing the Saudi King. Why don't you? At least Bush was not a closet Muslim. Ever heard of occam razor? Well, believing that Obama is a closet Muslim (he may be a Christian, also) is the easiest explanation for what he is doing with regard to Islam,
DeleteObama never held hands with nor kissed a Saudi king. Bush cleared Saudis and the bin Laden family to leave the US immediately after 9/11 when all US airspace was closed.
Delete"America treasures the relationship we have with our many Muslim friends, and we respect the vibrant faith of Islam which inspires countless individuals to lead lives of honesty, integrity, and morality. " - GW Bush
"The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. That's not what Islam is all about. Islam is peace." -GW Bush
DeleteYour first sentence is simply untrue.
Comparing Bush to Obama, is senseless. If it is wrong headed for Obama, it was wrong headed for Bush. But that begs your point . . . . . the fantasy that Bush and Obama were on the same page when it came to the war on terror.
Obama has been public with too many comments indicating his closet relationship with Islam. (“When the winds of political change come, I will stand with Islam.”)
And while Obama goes back 1000 years to create a moral equivalency between the butchery of the radical Jihadist and the European crusaders who were fighting their own brand of Islamic jihad, he misses the point of what is happening today. So each age has its murderous hypocrites. So what? They are no more. So what is Obama doing NOW, and, who else in this world, right now, is cutting babies in half, slaughtering young boys for watching a soccer game, burning their enemies alive, raping and selling women, and on and on. He does not want to talk about that. Sadly, neither do you.
