The fact that this Administration is praising Al Sharpton as something other than a world class huckster, tells you all you will ever need to know about our national "leadship." Our only hope? "This too shall pass."

<<  Another bland looking new-ager,  an academic with no real world experience,  in charge of HHS,  with so little background knowledge,  that she thinks Al Sharpton is a dedicated civil rights hero,  rather than what the real-world Democrats in her party know to be true:  that Sharpton is an anarchist with no recognition within the Democrat Party,  until the anarchist,  Barack Obama,  came along.

Below are comments taken from the Washington Examiner, here,  about the Sharpton,  this woman does not know.  One thing for certain,  this blog will never entertain a discussion about this moron of a "leader."  The fact that he has become identified with Obama,  tells you all you need to know about the current Administration   . . . .   end of the discussion.

From the Examiner:  Secretary of Health and Human Services Sylvia Burwell on Monday morning praised Al Sharpton in a breakfast speech before his National Action Network.
"I’ve had the pleasure of knowing the Reverend for many years, and have worked with him from my time in the Clinton administration to my time at Walmart to now," Burwell said, according to her prepared remarks.
After quoting Martin Luther King Jr., Burwell added, "Reverend
Sharpton has spent his life fighting for what’s right, no matter how challenging. I want to thank you for your courage, tenacity and persistence."
What exactly does Burwell have in mind as far as "fighting for what's right"?
Does she think Sharpton was fighting for what's right when he defamed a district attorney by falsely claiming the official had participated in the gang rape of a black teenager?

Was Sharpton fighting for what's right when he stood by Leonard Jeffries, the City University of New York professor? Jefferies had declared, "That was a conspiracy, planned and plotted and programmed out of Hollywood, where people called Greenberg and Weisberg and Trigliani and what not — it's not anti-Semitic to mention who developed Hollywood. Their names are there — MGM: Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer, Adolph Zukor, Fox. Russian Jewry had a particular control over the movies, and their financial partners, the mafia, put together a system of destruction for Black people."
Sharpton, during the controversy over Jefferies, said, “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house.”
Or maybe Burwell was thinking of the time when Sharpton helped add fuel to an anti-Semitic riot that resulted in the murder of a young Jewish rabbinical scholar? It was Sharpton who suggested talking "about how Oppenheimer in South Africa sends diamonds straight to Tel Aviv and deals with the diamond merchants right here in Crown Heights.”
Or maybe Burwell thought Sharpton was fighting for what was right when he injected himself into a landlord dispute in Harlem, declaring, “We will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business on 125th Street" — and leading protests resulting in the store being burnt down and seven people getting killed?

Burwell is correct about one thing — Sharpton certainly has been persistent during his career when it comes to spreading vicious anti-Semitism.
