The New York State Democratic Committee is bullying people into voting next week with intimidating letters warning that it can easily find out which slackers fail to cast a ballot next Tuesday.
“Who you vote for is your secret. But whether or not you vote is public record,” the letter says.
“We will be reviewing voting records . . . to determine whether you joined your neighbors who voted in 2014.”
Editor's notes: Maybe, just maybe, this desperation move is more complicated than at first glance.
The AP is reporting a sudden turn of events in New England. Understand that "New England" is made up of the North Eastern states including Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Maine. The problem? As it turns out, the guberntoral races in these states are running much closer that previously known. These are all Democrat strongholds. But the Progressives have been forced to take money out of the contested congressional races and spend in New England. Understand that a loss in this region, two years before the presidential election, would be catastrophic. Of course, most of these state positions will remain in Democrat control, but if two or three "flip," and those governors are as successful as most GOP governors, today, the likelihood of a success GOP presidential campaign would be greatly enhanced.
