Good morning! In the news today: Obama pivots again - to climate change; Gruber says Obama's campaign promise was false. Hillary's too, BTW; Keystone is one vote short; there's 100 pounds less of Chris Christie; Illegals will get benefits under Obama's fiat; and Asian students sue Harvard over affirmative action.
Have a great day.

Obama stakes final two years on climate change . . . With just two years left in power, President Barack Obama is elevating his efforts to combat global warming as he seeks to leave an imprint on the world that will endure after he's gone. It's a strategy rooted not only in Obama's long-stated support for such efforts, but also in political reality.
Although Obama has long sought to rally action against climate change, White House aides say the issue has become even more attractive after the election because it's one where Obama has considerable leverage to act without Congress. Associated Press

The Hill
Where the polls went wrong . . . For much of this election cycle, Democrats complained the polls were biased against them. They said the polls were failing to represent enough minority voters and applying overly restrictive likely-voter screens. But in the end, they were just as wrong. The polls did have a strong bias this year — but it was toward Democrats and not against them. FiveThirtyEight

Illegals to get benefits under Obama plan . . . Illegal aliens who get Obama’s likely forthcoming executive amnesty will have immediate access to welfare and other public benefits, according to a new report from the Federation of American Immigration Reform (FAIR). “Obama’s executive amnesty isn’t only unconstitutional but costly; from day one it opens up federal and state benefits to individuals who are still illegal aliens, regardless of the label the President puts on them,” FAIR executive director Julie Kirchner told Breitbart News.
