They sat in a room, together, and plotted the "Cadillac tax." Why? Because they knew there was not enough money in the healthcare program to pay for projected healthcare claims. Currently, this tax is or will be levied on high dollar insurance account (many of them union policies), raising the cost of these employer sponsored policies by 40% per month. The point of this post, however, is not about that tax so much as it is about the fact that Obama's only concern, here, was in crafting an argument for his reform bill, a deceptive argument for the very beginning, in an effort to fool the American people and some of those, in Congress, who voted for the bill.
