Mission Statement: This blog reviews the news of the day in light of 242 years of American history. "Nationalism," a modern day pejorative, has been our country's politic throughout history, until 2008. Obama changed that narrative. Trump is seeking a return to our historical roots. Midknight Review supports this return to normality.
Ron Klain - new Ebola Czar: Another highly partisan bureaucrat and academic, who knows nothing about healthcare or [especially] disease oriented crisis management.
President Barack Obama will appoint Ron Klain his "Ebola czar," knowledgeable sources ...
Editor's note: 92% of Obama's czar/staff are from academia with no specific experience as to their specific assignments. Compare this to the 65% averages of all other modern day Administrations as to professional/private sector particapation. The nation is being run by Academia to the exclusion of professionals; ideologues bent of One World, Utopian redistribution theories and societal management.
Clearly, as an experiment in Federal management, Academia has failed. It is no coincidence that the level of failure over the past six years and the extreme, first time ever, of Academia's involvement in the management of Federal governance have occurred at the same time in our history.
Update: Ron Klain is being appointed for one reason and one reason only: to mitigate damage done to this pathetic Administration. Need I remind the reader of the fact that we have a "health czar," he is called the Surgeon General. I understand that a specific appointment has not been approved, six years into this Administration, but there is an acting Surgeon General. Anyone know where this person is or what he has been doing in recent times or why he is still in government leadership? . . . . . . . . . . . . I didn't thinks so.
Klain is a political hack, adviser to Alvin Gore, and the man primarily involved in the character assassination of Justice Clarence Thomas. Nothing he says is to be trusted, yet, here he is, another addition to the many layers of incompetence that typifies this Administration.

Keep those old white people afraid ... Ebola!! ISIS!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd hope the college students stay uninterested in voting.
Beats "The Tea Party is coming, the Tea Party is coming" or "Acid rain is going to kill us all" or "20 feet of ocean water in NY City by 2015 !!!" or "We are all going to starve to death by mid1980" as you fear young adults will tire of this hysteria and the Utopian promises (NEVER FULFILLED) coming from the Left. It is part of the reason I left the Democrat Party after supporting Jimmy Carter's first term.
DeleteA study funded by the US Government's National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health has concluded that conservatism can be explained psychologically as: "a set of neuroses rooted in fear and aggression, dogmatism and the intolerance of ambiguity".
DeleteConservatives: Rooted in Fear.
"Conservatives: Rooted in Fear." Yet, it is the Utopian bias that preaches fear/crisis as a political strategy. "Never let a crisis go to waste" is the product/thinking of the European/Utopian mind set. "Vote GOP and we are all going to die." Vote GOP and we are all going to return to the Dark Ages." "Vote Republican and our children will grow up stupid." "Global warming is going to kill us all." "Acid rain is going to kill us all." "World wide famine will be the death of civilization no later than 1985." "We will fully deplete the world's supply of fossil fuel before the end of the 20th century" - Jimmy Carter, 1977. "Goldwater will take us into nuclear war !!!!" "Reagan will take us into WW III." "Be afraid, white people hate blacks and will take us back to the days of the KKK !!!" Point made. Case closed.
