The current Ebola crisis is spinning out of control .

NBC News is reporting:  The Ebola virus is spreading exponentially across Liberia as patients fill taxis in a fruitless search for medical care, the World Health Organization said Monday.  Experts believe as many as 20,000 people in that country will die before the crisis has passed.

How is the ebola virus spread?  According to the WHO,  "Ebola spreads in the community through human-to-human transmission, with infection resulting from direct contact (through broken skin or mucous membranes) with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected people, and indirect contact with environments contaminated with such fluids.

It does not appear to be an airborne disease.
