Understand that the last significant pieces of legislation passed by H Obama, were his healthcare bill,  March 23,  2010,  and the Dodd/Frank "too big to fail" legislative fiasco (July 21, 2010).   Since Dodd/Frank,  he has been a lame duck president with nothing of significance,  passed for more than four years,  now.  Understand that Dodd/Frank is not fully written, four years after its signing,  and ObamaCare is both incomplete and irreparable,  at this writing.  

Here is a list of all that Obama and his Utopian Minions could not finish AND will not finish:      

Domestic Failures:  

1. comprehensive immigration, 
2. giving 12 million illegal aliens full and complete amnesty;  
3. cap and trade (an idiotic scheme,  in the name of "climate change" devised to redistribute wealth),  
4. Passing the Fairness Doctrine through congress  (an assault on free conservative speech),  
5. accomplished  full nuclear disarmament  (unilateral disarmament is where Obama is going) if not a general disarmament,  then,  certainly,  nuclear. 
6. finalize regressive gun ownership control,  
7. make changes  to  international relations and treatises that could, then,  be used to supersede our Constitution as the sovereign law of our nation, 
8. move to end individual property rights through taxation and (EPA) regulations.    
9. destroy what is left of states rights and the implications of a robust 14th Amendment.
10. Give the unions their "card check" strategies (another scheme,  this time for the purpose of union control of industry without a secret ballot).
11. Quantify a thorough-going regulatory takeover of the private sector business community,  but were defeated in all of this nonsense  . . . .  by a constituency that was hated,  despised,  and rejected by mainstream politicians in both parties.  
12. ObamaCare was intended to be the fore-runner to a single-payer insurance system.  "Single-payer" being the government controlling policy definitions,  payouts and expenses.  as things stand,  today,  this is not a "single-payer" system.  
13. If this bill is broadened,  by the federal court system,  to allow folks to buy insurance that is not defined or controlled by Central Planning;  if the bill's mandated demands are taken down as they have been,  at the present time,  this bill will never lead to a single payer system  --  and what logic is there for the courts to argue against the notion that entities OTHER THAN THE GOVERNMENT can supply insurance to those who demand or want such coverage?   

Understand that all of this, and so much more,  means - in practical terms - that Obama's presidency is an abject failure,  and has been such for four years, if you give him the first two.  

Consider the fact that all of his "success" as an Administrator,  came when he did not have to negotiate and compromise with the opposing party,  as ALL previous presidents have done.  There have been no presidents more opposed than were GW Bush, Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton,  and, yet,  they got things done.  

Obama chose a "no compromise,  take no prisoners" style of running the presidency,  believing that he could demonize the other side into submission.  Obviously that failed.  Understand that when he tells folks,  "I can't get anything done because of those damned Republicans,"  or,  resorts to circumventing Congress,  altogether,  he is admitting his own failings as a diplomat and leader.  

We will put this country back on track,  sooner or later.  Right now,  we can celebrate the total demise of this wannabe World Messiah.  We are done with him,  and the next two elections could, very well,  be a testimony to this fact.
