For the first time since 2008, there are only three major stories in the news of the day, and none of them are about Obama, in the primary sense.

In other words,  there is nothing of political consequence, political per se,  in the news of the day.  Everything has policital consequence,  but Obama is not the center of attention on this day.  Ferguson is the news;  ISIS is the news;  the death of journalist,  James Foley is the news and occupies the majority of the days headlines.

There is plenty to talk about but little to review,  and this is "Midknight Review."

There is the economy.  It continues to fail.  The startling fact,  here,  is this:  remove the 1 million job market in Texas,  and the Obama Administration has 360,000 created,  net jobs,  to go before it reaches "zero" on the recovery side of the ledger.  As it turns out,  without those pesky Republicans,  Obama would have no real success,  at all,  when it comes to the job market.  But,  alas,  we have no stories to review.

Michelle Obama is with Barack,  of course,  and in the midst of her 28th multi-week,  taxpayer paid vaca,  in 5.5 years.  She takes five multi-week vacations per year,  and when not on vacation,  sits around and tries to figure out ways to save our children from over-eating.    I have to admit,  this is one "first couple"  I prefer to see on vacation.  At least,  they are not mucking up the waters while they are yuking up the party scene.

There is news of the Democrat faithful deserting Obama,  in droves,  before the coming election.  It is not that they disagree with the man,  rather,  they are being treated with same sense of isolation as the Republicans.  Obama's criticism of congress,  includes his Democrat buds as the product of unplanned consequences.  He has [inadvertently ?] brought down popular opinion for all of congress,  in his constant threat of using his pen and his phone.  He is no longer in counsel with members of his party and they do not like it.

You do know,  the man only has 2015 and then,  his time as "president" is over.  You say,  "2016."  But,  that is the year of party conventions,  primary presidential challenges,  debates,  and more campaign promises to be broken.

He has been a noisy but defeated president,  since March 23, 2010,  and,  the signing of ObamaCare.   More than this,  he is taking down the Marxist Progressive Movement  (there are non-Marxist "progressives,"  of course) as he fades into anonymity.

    Obama is not a candidate.

    and....

    GENERIC CONGRESSIONAL VOTE:
    FOX News Poll: Democrats +7
    D - 46%
    R - 39%

So, we can see... as usual, Smithson is spewing hate and misinformation.

  2. The Fox poll is its own poll. Real Clear Politics averages polling information from several sources and comes up with a 1.2 point advantage for the Dems. Problem: turn out projections do not favor the Democrats and that is the source of the fears for Democrats. More than this, the individual Senate races of several states is at the heart of the matter. There is no hate, here, and certainly no misinformation. If so, make your case. You do not because you cannot. It is that simple.
