Dear John, I'm writing you as a friend of Hillsdale College to tell you about the College's newest campaign: the "2014 Campaign to Educate Millions." As you know, America recently celebrated its 238th birthday. And to honor our nation's birth, we've set a goal to raise $238,000 within the next 7 days. This will go a long way towardshelping us educate millions of Americansabout the Constitution and liberty in the second half of 2014 - a critical year for America. Can I count on your continued support? Support Hillsdale's "2014 Campaign to Educate Millions" HERE. Your gift will help Hillsdale register more Americans for our no-cost online courses, including our two new courses that we'll launch this Fall . . . . . . as well as fund our other online educational programs, events and operations at our "beachhead of liberty" in Washington, D.C., The Kirby Center, and our digest of liberty, Imprimis, which has more than 2.8 million subscribers. Thanks to your past support, we've already had more than 890,000 registrations to one or more of our online courses. But to restore liberty in America in 2014 and beyond, we need to reach millions more. That's why I hope you'll support our "2014 Campaign to Educate Millions" TODAY. When you make your tax-deductible gift, you'll have the opportunity to receive a complimentary print of John Trumbull's famous painting, "Declaration of Independence," which hangs in the Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol, anautographed copy of my book, TheFounders' Key, and an edition of our 790-page book, The Constitution: A Reader. But supplies are limited, so make sure you make your gift to our 2014 Campaign to Educate Millions" immediately. As a friend of the College, you know that Hillsdale does not accept ONE PENNY of government funding - even in the form of federal student grants and loans. You are probably also aware that we've set an ambitious goal to teach 50 million Americans (over the course of the next two years) about the Constitution, free-market economics, and America's heritage of liberty. But progressives in power continue to undermine the Constitution. Consider the bureaucratic despotism embodied in the 2,700 page ObamaCare law now with more than 20,000 pages of regulations! These despotic regulations are destroying liberty in America. That's why our "2014 Campaign to Educate Millions" about our nation's founding principles of liberty has never been more crucial. America cannot survive as a beacon of liberty under our current unconstitutional form of government - a government I've referred to as "bureaucratic despotism." Hillsdale College, with your support, seeks to revive limited government under the Constitution. The key to accomplishing this? Education. We can't expect to restore America to its limited-government principles without a citizen-electorate that understands the Constitution, our nation's founding and history, and free-market economics -- those things that make America the beacon of liberty. That's what Hillsdale will continue to do-- with your support. So please, take two minutes out of your busy schedule to make the most generous tax-deductible gift you can afford to help us reach millions more Americans with our online courses on the Constitution, free-market economics, and America's heritage of liberty as well as all of the College's other educational programs. Thank you for your dedication to restoring liberty to our great nation. Warm regards, Larry P. Arnn President, Hillsdale College Pursuing Truth and Defending Liberty since 1844 P.S. As a valued friend of Hillsdale, you are vital to our work to educate Americans about liberty and the Constitution. That's why I'm counting on you to make a tax-deductible contribution to supportHillsdale's "2014 Campaign to Educate Millions" to help the College teach more Americans with our no-cost online courses. Remember, when you make a tax-deductible donation, you'll have the opportunity to receive your complimentary print of John Trumbull's "Declaration of Independence," an autographed copy of my latest book, The Founders' Key, and a copy of Hillsdale's 790-page book, The Constitution: A Reader. But as I mentioned earlier, supplies are limited. It's important that you make your donation today to reserve your print and books and to help Hillsdale educate millions of Americans. To do that, the College seeks to raise $238,000 within the next 7 days to support our online courses and other education programs on the Constitution and liberty. But we can only reach this goal with your help. Thank you for your support. |
Since they are conservative, they must be doing the work of God. Everyone knows God is owned by conservatives.
ReplyDelete“Some people continue to defend trickle-down theories which assume that economic growth, encouraged by a free market, will inevitably succeed in bringing about greater justice and inclusiveness in the world. This opinion, which has never been confirmed by the facts, expresses a crude and naive trust in the goodness of those wielding economic power ... Meanwhile, the excluded are still waiting.” -- Pope Francis
Did I say they were conservative? Nope. there are no alternatives to "trickle-down." It either trickles down from the govenmen, keeping the benefactors at or near poverty, it "trickle down" describes the phenom of working for the "man" until you become "the man." Pope Francis has no authority in your life, sol why quote the man? AND, he, like you, never offers an alternative.
