CDC finds that self-identifying gays total no more than 1.6% of the population and half of them are bi-sexual. Translation: Since heterosexuality is genetic and prevailing, biologically, the gay community will always be an extreme minority. What does that mean?

The Washington Post reports , here.  Most folks of my persuasion believe expressed homosexuality is a sin,  but none (in my experience) believe it is a crime.  If "it" is not criminal,  if this class of individuals are an extreme minority,  do they not deserve protections via the larger community?  While asking this question,  I am driven to ask a second:  why should this minority expect to criminalize my opposition to their agenda.  Why should the extreme minority we call "gay"  be allowed to force my acceptance?  Protection is one thing;  a demand that I surrender my thinking and conscientious objection is quite another.  To expect protection and equality should never include silencing the opposition.   After all,  what is good for the heterosexual community should be the example for the homosexual community.

  1. Who controls the numbers in these survey reports? HETEROSEXUALs. Does anyone see a problem, here?

  2. Your objection is the same as those racists on the Left who are constantly whining about the white majority. There ARE majorities and minorities. Whites, for some years to come, are the majority population, if ethnicity is important. Ditto for the heterosexual population - they are wired to be the majority. So get used to it.

I think it funny, that the gay argument that homosexuality is not a choice, but a physical or biological proclivity, simply means that - being a matter of biology - gayness will always represent or "produce" an extremely small minority. Do you think the numbers would change, significantly, if the bean-counters were gay . . . . . and who is to say they are not??

  3. Why should the extreme minority we call "Jewish" be allowed to force my acceptance?
Why should the extreme minority we call "Mormon" be allowed to force my acceptance?
Why should the extreme minority we call "autistic" be allowed to force my acceptance?
Why should the extreme minority we call "blind" be allowed to force my acceptance?
Why should the extreme minority we call "deaf" be allowed to force my acceptance?
Why should the extreme minority we call "gay" be allowed to force my acceptance?

Well, I guess if you're a Nazi... it shouldn't be allowed.

    1. "Nazi" has nothing to do with it, Moron. "Acceptance" has to do with free speech. You all hate the Jews in Israel. You, also, hate white people. You should be allowed to voice your opinion, however. If you had bothered to comprehend my post, you would realize that "legislation against" is not the same thing as "speaking out against." Try tgo keep up.

    2. What exactly is your objection to gays and what do you hope to accomplish by your "conscientious objection"?

You don't think Jews should be protected against discrimination by legislation?

    3. When I was an employer, I never asked anyone if he was gay, just for the record. My complaint is the attempt, by that lobby, to criminalize my vocal objections to that lifestyle. In Canada and France, I know that anti-gay speech, even in a church, is criminal. You can't say, "God hates gays (which He doesn't) . You have to toe the party line. THAT IS WRONG, in my book. and I would never obey such a law. Protection against discrimination is one, and necessary, but not at the expense of my free speech. If a person is offended, then I say, "Grow up."

    4. So you think it's lawful to espouse hate speech against Jews?

    5. Of course. Your side of the aisle does it all the time. Speech is not "free speech" if the only speech allowed is determined by you or Obama or some other jerk Marxist. It really is a straight forward concept. My 6th grade grandson gets it, you can too, with a little time and some coaching as to critical thinking and reading comprehension.

    6. But it ok to espouse hate for the concept of being gay?

Lot of hate you're carrying around, John.

      Let it go.

    7. It is a product of free speech to espouse hate at to anything or anyone. Stop whining because someone hurt your little feelings, and grow up.
