Weekend Reading: Hillary's popularity lower since the book tour, than before. If she is a "shoe-in," how can this be happening.

As she launches her book tour to rebrand her image, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is becoming less liked by Americans.
According to a Gallup survey, only 54 percent of Americans now view Clinton favorably, which is her lowest rating since 2008. She had a 59 percent favorability rating before her book tour.
Editor's note:  She had a 70% rating in December of 2012,  as Secretary of State.
Clinton, a potential 2016 presidential contender, is less liked when she enters the political arena, and her book tour is being run like a campaign. Clinton has already made plenty of blunders during her book launch, like claiming that she was "dead broke" after she and her husband left the White House, even though they bought two lavish homes in Washington, D.C. and New York.
Editor's note:  As to the Clinton's financial worth as President and First Lady -  they made $200,000 per year for the eight years in office  (for you Progressives, that's $1 million dollars).  Both left office with huge caps on their speaking engagements,  starting at $200,000 per speech.  Hillary took in $8 million for a book bonus,  almost immediately after leaving the WH and these phonies,  bought/owned two million dollar mansions.  One wonders why she thought claiming "We were broke" was a good idea.
Gallup also found that her favorability ratings plummeted with Republicans and Independents after four Americans were murdered in Benghazi while she was secretary of state.
Editor's note:  Hillary will not have the turn out vote in the Black community enjoyed by the half-black  (well he is half black AND was raised a privileged white kid who partied and doped it up in high school and the first year or two in college).  I do not believe she can win without the Independents vote,  but time will tell,  on that score.  The book tour is proving her to a poor politician,  no more able to manage her deliberate use of misinformation and lies,  than the current Administration.  She is hardly "charismatic,"  and Obama is dumping nearly all the remaining,  problematic issues into her lap,  ObamaCare,  Benghazi,  the VA,  the scandalous Green Energy lobby, the hidden but undeniably increasing inflation rate,  the effects of skyrocketing energy prices on the working poor,  the joblessness of the Obama/Hillary recovery - yes,  that IS how that issue will be framed,  HillaryCare as the model for ObamaCare and etc.  The hard left base supports Elizabeth Warren,  and the rift in the Progressive/Socialist Party much more problematic than the Compliment Media wants you to beleive.  In short,  I believe she is screwed,  as a candidate.  Cand the Marxist Media draw her aging body politic across the finish line?  THAT will be the only mystery,  as relates to her candidacy.
"Hillary Clinton's era of higher favorability appears to be ending even before she announces whether she will run for president," Gallup concludes. "Americans typically rate non-political figures higher than political ones on this measure, and her favorable ratings before, during, and after being secretary of state are consistent with that phenomenon."
Gallup conducted the poll June 5-8, 2014, and the margin of error is +/- four percentage points.

  2. Well, keep in mind when we gave you the last butt kicking (2010), teaparty support was 26% the day before that election. As a movement, it influences more than 40% of the population.
