From
Breitbart.com:
President
Barack Obama reportedly told pro-amnesty nurses on Monday that there is a 50-50
chance the House acts on amnesty legislation next month.
According
to the Associated Press, Obama "met at the White House Monday
with a group of nurses to discuss" immigration. Alvin Vitung, a nurse from
California
who attended the event, said Obama "told them he thought there was a 50-50
chance of House action in the next month — perhaps higher if they kept up their
advocacy."
As
Breitbart News has reported, House Republicans like Reps. Paul Ryan (R-WI),
Mick Mulvaney (R-SC), and Mario Diaz Balart (R-FL) have
been gauging support for an immigration bill. House Speaker John
Boehner (R-OH) has reportedly said he was hell-bent on passing amnesty
legislation this year, and Valerie Jarrett, who is Obama's adviser and confidant,
said that the White House had a "commitment
from" Boehner to act on amnesty legislation by August before she
walked those comments back. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) has said there could be
legislation by "June
or July," while other House Republicans leaders like Conference
Chair Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) have been aiming for an August date.
Editor’s
notes: I do not believe that the immigration
reform, being considered in the
House, is devoid of a concern for the return to border security as surrendered by this Administration. But, after nearly six years of Obama, we now know, with a certainty, that a House bill satisfying the conservative majority in this country, will not be the final word. If passed into law, per "our satisfaction," Obama will simply rewrite the law and proceed as if he were the final word. He is lawless to the core, not to be trusted with any substantive piece of legislation, and, as a result, should never be given the opportunity to rewrite laws, again.
What I am saying is this: As much as we need serious and comprehensive legislation, to give Obama an opportunity to rewrite existing law should be avoided at all cost.
Understand
that Obama is not simply trying to pad the voting rolls of the Democrats. Rather,
he actually believes in a borderless world/community and is working to that
end, come hell or high water. His open borders policy is common knowledge in Central America, and that is why these folks are streaming to America ,
via Mexico . Frankly,
I would do the same, so let’s not
blame “the folks.”
Sadly, the influx of immigrants - a quarter
of a million in the next three months
- is unsustainable. “Utopia” will not be advanced. Nothing good comes from chaos . . . .
not creation via the chaos of a big bang** nor a sustainable “utopia” via lawlessness
in high places.
