Jamal Badawi
There is lots of information on this new story, but the short of it is that former Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, is believed to have purged files on a certain terrorist, Jamal Badawi. I remember that through the years we have suspected this of more than one such dangerous person allowed entry, and terror-related files having been purged. Senator Charles Grassley has discovered that the U.S. has a "hands-off" list of terrorists, and at least one person on the list is gaining entry to the U.S. this weekend, because, well, he's on the  "hands off" list and he knows it. Badawi has sued the U.S. twice in past for either attempting to keep him out and doing so, or attempting to keep him out and failing. Those details haven't yet been released.

The DHS emails also reveal that this particular terrorism suspect has actually taken legal action against the U.S., presumably because authorities violated the hands off policy. The subject “has sued CBP twice in the past and that he’s one of the several hands off passengers nationwide,” according to the DHS emails obtained by Senator Grassley’s office. The documents go on to say that the terrorist’s records were removed and that the DHS Secretary (at the time Janet Napolitano) was involved in the matter...
In February he wrote a letter to DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson saying this: “I’m puzzled how someone could be a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, be an associate of [redacted], say that the US is staging car bombings in Iraq and that [it] is ok for men to beat their wives, question who was behind the 9/11 attacks, and be afforded the luxury of a visitor visa and de-watchlisted. It doesn’t appear that we’ll be successful with denying him entry tomorrow but maybe we could re-evaluate the matter in the future since the decision to de-watchlist him was made 17 months ago.” Source: Judicial Watch
Grassley has been trying to untangle these emails, and this story, since February. Homeland Security is blaming it on the Department of Justice (DOJ) which maintains the "Terrorist Screening Center."
Judicial Watch did not reveal the person's name for this particular, "hands-off" offense, but The Free Beacon did.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) secretly assembled a terrorist “hands off” list that permitted individuals with terrorist ties unfettered entrance into the United States, according to document released by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa).
The existence of a “hands off” list that permitted easy entrance for suspect individuals into the United States has drawn concern from Grassley, who released a cache of internal DHS emails detailing the list’s existence and discussion about permitting an alleged member of the Muslim Brotherhood to enter the United States.
The emails—sent between U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)—reveal a row over the admittance of one alleged Muslim Brotherhood official tied to Hamas, Hezbollah, and other terror groups.
While the individual in question is not named in the heavily redacted emails, the Washington Free Beacon has learned that the person referenced is Jamal Badawi, a Canadian Islamist leader who has praised suicide bombing and is close to Hamas and Hezbollah. Source: Free Beacon, read more here.
PJ Media has a full exposé on Badawi, who graduated the University of Indiana. He's the typical coward who is a professor in Canada, and never detonates the bomb, just encourages others to do so.
However the presence of one of the keynote speakers, Egyptian-Canadian Islamic leader Jamal Badawi, is not only raising ongoing questions about the leadership of ISNA, but also of the Department of Homeland Security’s continued reluctance to stop Badawi’s extensive travels inside the United States despite abundant evidence of his terrorist support and extremist views, including evidence submitted by federal prosecutors fingering Badawi in the largest terrorism financing trial in American history...
That’s not the only connection. Badawi also sits on the board of directors of Qaradawi’s International Association of Muslim Scholars (IAMS), which just a few months after its founding in 2004 issued a fatwa authorizing the killing of American troops in Iraq. The Iraqi resistance even published the news of the IAMS fatwa on their own English-language website.
That’s right: Homeland Security continues to allow Badawi into the U.S. despite sitting on the board of a group that religiously authorized the killing of American service men and women. Source: PJ Media, read more.
Even before the conference this past weekend, the Investigative Project on Terrorism noted last week Badawi’s radicalism, including recorded statements he made in 2009 in support of suicide bombings.
You might remember Yusuf al-Qaradawi, also banned from the U.S., and the godfather of the Muslim Brotherhood. Former Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarack barred him from the country some 30 years ago. The minute Mubarack was deposed, Qaradawi made a triumphant return. He was there to help the Muslim Brotherhood "cleanse" the new constitution. We know what that got them, a military coup and prison time for the offending Brotherhood.  Qaradawi's deputy, Islamist Abdulla bin Bayyah, claims he has visited the White House to offer advice on Syria.
Bin Bayyah, as VP of the IUMS “endorsed a fatwa calling for the killing of American troops and other personnel serving in Iraq.” Bin Bayyah’s visit to the White House and close association with Qaradawi, who is also the current president of the European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR) – justifiying jihad for young Muslims, should do more than raise eyebrows. Qaradawi has called for the deaths of Americans and Jews. ECFR does not recognize Israel’s right to exist.

Abdullah bin Bayyah’s website announced his visit to the White House, said it was requested by the administration and The Investigative Project says that meeting took place June 13, 2013. Bin Bayyah said he will call for “the protection of the Syrian people and justice for the Palestinians, as he meets with Obama’s senior advisers and an “aide” or “aides” to Barack Obama.
It begs the question, is Abdullah bin Bayyah also on the "hands-off" list?
Malik Obama is the founder of the Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. Foundation which received expedited 501(c) US tax status, and the benefit was given retroactively for previous years, directly from Lois Lerner, the IRS employee who pled the Fifth Amendment in the cases of the IRS targeting of Conservatives.
Malik is Executive Secretary to the Sudanese president who has been indicted on charges of genocide. Sudan is considered a terrorist state by the U.S. – so our White House has had a top member of that terrorist state with horrific human rights violations sitting right in the Oval Office and we haven’t a clue how many times he’s been there....
Malik is also Executive Secretary  of the Sudanese Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO) which Shoebat says is an umbrella group of the Muslim Brotherhood. Egyptian press reports Egypt is close to putting Malik on a Terrorist Watch list.
August 2013:
At point 20 of this declaration of war, Jamal Badawi, is identified as a Muslim Brotherhood leader in North America. Badawi has been on CAIR-CAN’s board of administrators at least since 2004. On May 28, 2013, he was still listed on the organization’s board. Badawi is based in Halifax. He is also on the board of many other Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated organizations in Canada and in the United States.
In a 2004 text, Jamal Badawi wrote about the Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna (1906-1949) that ‘he has epitomized twentieth century Islamic thought and ideology.’ Al-Banna’s ideas are summarized in his 50-point manifesto. In it, al-Banna urged his supporters to abolish political parties and replace them by a single party system, he favoured the modification of laws so that they conform to sharia, he called for the multiplication of associations dedicated to promoting the spirit of jihad amongst the youth, etc. Source: The Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Watch

Hassan al-Banna's grandson, Tariq Ramadan was banned from the U.S. during the Bush administration. Hillary Clinton fixed that problem for him. 
Our government has a "hands off" list for certain terrorists -- and they exercise it, we just don't know how often or for whom. Senator Grassley will try to stop this nasty bit of business, but you and I both know, he doesn't have a chance.
