Obama's morning news conference regarding Russia's takeover of Crimea went something like this: "Blah, blah, blah, blah and there will be more of this if Russia does not cave under the pressure."

<<<  Here is Obama,  two weeks ago,  holding an unscheduled press conference,  threatening Russia with sanctions.  He left the room for a scheduled day on the golf coarse;  number 165,  I believe. (if you are counting,  that's 4 working months of playing this particular game).  

In a word,  Obama's strategy against Russia goes like this:  "Blah,  blah, blah,  blah and there will be more of this is Russia does not cave under the pressure."

Understand that his sanctions are limited to less than 12 Russian Oligarchs.  In other words,  he (Obama) has done enough to be able to stand before the American people and tell us,  with a straight face,  that he is busy doing something about this foreign policy disaster.  12 Russian business men? !!  And most of them have already transferred their financial holdings back into Russia.  

Update:  7 Russian manufacturing owners and 4 pro-Russian business owners in Ukraine,  are facing financial sanctions. Understand that Obama warned these folks of his intentions two weeks ago.  Thanks to his ineptness,  his reprisals will have no impact on the Russian economy  . . . .  none.  

I have made this point earlier last week,  but Obama has come to the table of foreign affairs about 5 years too late, and, he is that far behind.  Good thing he takes pride in "leading from behind."  And,  you can't get any further behind than where he is,  at this moment in history.
