Obama's Approval/Disapproval Index -- not good for the Slickster.
What may come as a surprise, if not a shock, to many Americans, is the fact that Obama's job approval rating finds him out of favor with the American people throughout 2010, 2011, 2012, and, now 2013. While the Compliant Media is busy telling folks that the country does not especially like the GOP (has it ever?), the fact of the matter remains that there is a divide between Obama's "likability" rating and his job approval index. What may be of importance, here, is the similarity between November, 2010 (midterms) and what seems to be developing now.
13 months before the November, 2010 midterms, an embarrassing series of defeats for the Socialist/Progressive, Obama's approval/disapproval numbers were nearly even.
Today, 12 months before another midterm election, there is a 17 point divide, with Obama showing the lowest approval numbers of his so-called presidency. It is possible if not probably, that the ObamaCare rollout which will continue through the spring of 2015, will plague the Dems in both the midterm and the 2016 presidential elections. One thing for certain: the "shutdown debate" will be long forgotten.
